R.E. Eilber, East Borough, dies at 58
East Stroudsburg- Russell E. Eilber, 58, of 7 Taylor St., East Stroudsburg, died Thursday at home. He was born in Stroudsburg, a son of the late John and Caroline Kayes Eilber. Eilber was a veteran of the United States Army, World War II. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Harrison Eilber, at home two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Gallagher of Tobyhanna; Mrs. Hazel Shepps of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Russell Eilber Jr., East Stroudsburg and Harry R. Heller, Stroudsburg; one granddaughter and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Smith and Mrs. Myrtle Hunt, both of Dover, Del.; two brothers, Floyd and Lester Eilber, both of Stroudsburg. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Lanterman Funeral Home with Rev. Harold C. Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg. Friends and relatives may pay respects Sunday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

East Stroudsburg- Funeral services for Russell E. Eilber, 58, of 7 Taylor St., East Stroudsburg, were held Monday in the Lanterman Funeral Home with Rev. Harold C. Eaton officiating. Burial was in Laurelwood. Pallbearers were Bernard Hutla, Carl Bush, Thomas Treible, Benjamin Perry, George Buclarski and Harold Martz. Flag folders were Ross Transue and Walter Smith. Flag presentation was made by Sgt. Walter Smith. In addition to previously listed survivors, Mr. Eilber is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard Miller of Delaware Water Gap, and four grandchildren.
